Robinson’s Karate School is pleased to announce our P.A. Day Camp for January 2011! Kids, enjoy karate, fun, and games from 9:00am–3:00pm.
Friday, January 14th: Newmarket, Aurora, and Bolton
Monday, January 31st: Newmarket and Aurora only
Late pickup available for after school program members until 6:00pm. After School Program members enjoy this camp for free!

RKS Student Honored for Teaching Excellence

Allan Richardson, a Robinson’s Karate School student, from the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science will be Centennial’s 25th recipient of the George Wicken Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence. The George Wicken Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence recipient is also designated as the recipient of the Board of Governors’ Teaching Excellence Award, and reflects the commitment of Centennial College to the strategic goal of teaching excellence.
Allan has been with Centennial for 25 years, and is described by his students as an extraordinary teacher who uses his passion to inspire them. Allan was selected from a slate of impressive nominees.
The Wicken Memorial Teaching Excellence Award celebrates the exceptional work of Centennial’s faculty. The annual award ceremony honours the memory and contributions of George Wicken, a dedicated English professor who died suddenly in 1984 at the age of 36.
Congrats, Allan, from everyone at Robinson’s Karate School.
